One of the first homes built on the "Hepburn Hill Estate", almost opposite Hepburn's home from the 1850s, was No. 1 Goodall Street. It belonged to Alfred Isaacs and his wife, parents of Sir Isaac Isaacs, Judge and politician, first Australian born Governor-General. The Isaacs moved here in 1888, the house perhaps built by Huddlestone.
