Built by Frederick Green ca. 1912 for Canterbury Hall Company, comprising four shops and a hall. Opened in 1913 and operated as a local hall for concerts and other gatherings, became mainly a cinema by the end of the Great War, ceasing when the Maling Theatre opened in 1942. Used for plastics manufacture and by importers and trading companies until its recycling as an antique market in the 1970s.
