Comments: Built by Denis Delany in the 1856, on Canterbury Road (then Delany's Road) near the corner of Warrigal Road. According to the South Bourke Standard (26 April 1867), every Easter Monday, the Nunawading and Boroondara Annual Races are held in the paddock adjoining Delany's hotel, the location being convenient for residents of both districts, and consisted of horse, pony and foot races. The hotel was closed following the local option poll in 1920.
