Built c.1888 for Thomas Boanas, originally described as a restaurant / wine hall, later a newsagency, until taken over by John Weymouth, plumber in 1902 when he moved from 195. Operated as a hardware business by the Weymouths until the 1950s, it continued under the Weymouth name until the early 1970s.
