Comments: Built by James Call, the Tower Hotel was a popular drinking hole with workers from Clarence Hicks' Junction Saw and Moulding Mills, as well as those from the Upper Hawthorn Brick Company on the corner of Roseberry St. It was later known as Dennis' Tower Hotel, and demolished on Saturday 4th of December, 1954. The new Tower Hotel built on the east side of Camberwell Road in 1939 and still stands today.
